“I am the Business Commercial Manager at LNER (London North Eastern Railway), the leading rail operator on the East Coast Main Line. In my role, I manage LNER’s corporate travel market, working with businesses of all sizes to help them achieve their productivity, connectivity and sustainability goals through smarter travel choices. During my talk, I’ll provide an overview of LNER, our role within the rail industry, and how we’ve evolved since returning to public ownership. I’ll share insights into how we’re performing across our key markets, including leisure, corporate and international travel, and discuss some of the trends we’re seeing across the industry. I’ll also explore the investments and improvements we’ve made to enhance the customer experience, both onboard our trains and across our stations, and how we’re continuing to respond to changing customer expectations. My aim is to give attendees a better understanding of the important role rail plays in supporting businesses, communities and the UK’s sustainability ambitions, while providing a practical insight into the opportunities and challenges facing the industry today.”
