There are few better examples of business, community and charity coming together than the annual Lincoln Business Club Golf Day & Summer Social, and we are delighted to announce that this year’s event will take place at the beautiful Market Rasen Golf Club on Thursday 10 September.
Delivered in partnership with Nicholsons Chartered Accountants, Cowans Group and Pro 5 Networking, this popular event continues to grow year on year, bringing together professionals from across Greater Lincolnshire for a day of networking, fundraising and fun, all while supporting the incredible work of the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance.
Whilst golf remains at the heart of the event, this year we are excited to broaden the appeal even further by offering activities for those who don’t play golf.
For the first time, attendees will have the opportunity to take part in a guided walk or cycle ride, both starting and finishing at Market Rasen Golf Club. This means there is genuinely something for everyone, whether you prefer the fairways, the open road or the local countryside.
The day begins with a breakfast sandwich and refreshments in the clubhouse, providing the perfect opportunity for delegates to connect, catch up and build new relationships before heading off for their chosen activity.
A Welcoming Event for Golfers of All Abilities
The golf competition is designed to be inclusive and enjoyable for players of all experience levels. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or have never picked up a club before, you’ll be made to feel welcome. One of the most rewarding aspects of this event over the past five years has been seeing so many people play their first ever round of golf. Newcomers regularly join mixed teams, enjoy the supportive atmosphere and discover a new sporting passion along the way.
And what better place to do it than Market Rasen Golf Club? Surrounded by mature pine trees and renowned for its picturesque setting, the course offers a sense of tranquillity and escapism, making it the ideal venue for a day away from the office.
The halfway house will once again be fully stocked and operated by representatives from Cowans Group, Nicholsons Chartered Accountants, Pro 5 Networking and the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance, ensuring everyone remains refreshed throughout the day.
Following the golf, walk and cycle activities, participants will gather for an outstanding buffet supper as part of the Summer Social, creating further opportunities to network and celebrate together.
The evening will also feature a charity raffle, with some fantastic prizes already generously donated by The British Hamper Company, along with a number of additional games and activities designed to add to the festival atmosphere and help raise even more funds for our chosen charity.
Every pound raised will help support the life-saving work of the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance, a charity that provides critical emergency medical care across our region when people need it most.
By taking part, attendees will not only enjoy a memorable day with fellow businesses and professionals but will also be helping ensure this vital service can continue making a difference to communities across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.
