LocalMotion Lincoln is a social, economic and environmental justice movement. We work with the local third sector and other organisations and institutions in the city to challenge and navigate unjust systems, siloed thinking and short-term planning. There are five other places nationally which we work with, to share knowledge, pool resources and plan long-term for the future. Despite the size of the challenge, we are determined and driven to imagine things differently, to fundamentally re-think the systems and processes which create socio-cultural, economic and environmental crises. Wilf Wright is a researcher for LocalMotion Lincoln. He has 18 months of professional research experience after receiving a Master of Research from the University of Nottingham (2023). He is working on several projects in the city of Lincoln, ranging from studies of the local third sector’s financial health and the technicalities of the new community hubs network, alongside work with young people and community researchers.
